This forestry office and government service center is a great place to prepare for disasters and plan emergency response. The staff is very nice and informative. The office is clean and well-maintained. The Fort DeSoto Park Camp Office is a beautiful place to spend the day, with waterfront sites and a dog beach. However, the office can be too expensive, especially the gift shop. Some users have experienced safety issues with vagrants in the area. The park is well-kept and has nice amenities, including wheelchair-accessible restrooms and parking. The beach is beautiful, with dolphins visible in the area. The only concern is that the park can be quite crowded and has a strict check-in policy at 1PM. Overall, it's a great place to visit, but with some areas for improvement.
