I visited Suncoast Center's Sexual Assault Services and was not impressed. The building is located in Building 4024 on Central Ave Avenue in St. Petersburg City. The center provides compassionate care and resources for survivors of sexual assault, but it seems like they are not equipped to handle the needs of their clients.The issue that stood out to me was the lack of professionalism from the doctors. The first doctor I saw was Dr. Linda A. Lefler, MD, who is listed as a co-brand of the center. I had a difficult time getting a prescription filled for my daughter, and after a week of trying, I had to seek help from another doctor.The center has a planning feature that recommends appointments, but it seems like they don't follow through on their own recommendations. The amenities are limited, with only a restroom available, and the wheelchair accessibility is a plus. However, the parking lot and entrance are also wheelchair accessible, but this is not enough to make up for the lack of quality care.The keywords listed for the center include therapy, stress management, and mental health, but it seems like they are not providing the level of care that their clients need.
