Mekor Shalom is a warm and welcoming Conservative synagogue that feels like a true spiritual home for its members. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with kindness and acceptance, and everyone is welcomed with open arms. The synagogue's leaders, including Hazzan Jodi Sered-Lever, are genuine, caring, and compassionate, and they truly care about each other and new members alike. The congregation is a real community of individuals who feel connected and inspired, and they actively encourage participation and involvement. The synagogue's atmosphere is joyful and participatory, and it's a great place to learn and grow in your Jewish faith. The religious school is small but excellent, and the Hazzan takes the time to get to know each child and family. The congregation is also very accepting and welcoming, with no judgment or gossip. It's a place where everyone feels valued and cherished, and where you can truly feel at home. The synagogue's facilities are wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone to participate. Unfortunately, the hours of operation are limited, with the only available time slot on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. However, despite this, the synagogue still manages to offer a sense of community and belonging that's hard to find elsewhere.Overall, Mekor Shalom is a wonderful place to connect with others, learn about your Jewish heritage, and find a true spiritual home.
